PETRAUS: PADRI AFGANI BRUCIANO I FIGLI?
Democracy Now.Tensioni tra il Governo afgano di Karzai e le autorità statunitensi dopo la diffusione di notizie sulla morte di 64 civili a causa di un presunto attacco della NATO, la settimana scorsa. Secondo il Washington Post, il generale David H. Petraus ha suggerito, durante un riunione a porte chiuse domenica scorsa, che gli afgani pro Talebani potrebbero aver bruciato i propri figli o inventato storie per esagerare le notizie rispetto alla morte di civili. Si afferma che le autorità afgane presenti alla riunione sono rimaste sbalordite al sentire queste affermazioni. Uno dei funzionari ha detto: “Assassinare 60 persone e poi dare la colpa dell’assassinio a queste stesse persone invece di porgere le scuse ? E’ inumano”
