Ejecutan a tres condenados a muerte por primera vez desde 2007

Las autoridades kuwaitíes ejecutaron ayer en la Prisión Central de Kuwait a tres hombres, un paquistaní, un saudí y un apátrida, condenados a muerte por homicidio. Se trata de las primeras ejecuciones en el emirato desde 2007, según informó el Ministerio de Justicia. El fiscal Mohamed al Duaich precisó que hay otros 48 presos en el corredor de la muerte. Subrayó que las ejecuciones de ayer se desarrollaron en presencia de medios de comunicación para que «sirvan de ejemplo para quienes piensen en cometer delitos».
