“Rovi di Mare – Visioni di un orizzonte in bilico” is the title of the art exhibition, which opens on 30 January in Turin, by Petra Probst and Flavio Tiberti in memory of the victims of the 3 October 2013 and of all the shipwrecks that followed. The exhibition is in collaboration with Emergency.
As Sergio Segio writes in the editorial of this issue, “we dedicate this special issue of Global Rights to that same painful memory, to remember, with words and images, those who offer empathy to the other and an open participatory gaze on the world that the Mediterranean is become a marine cemetery. Enormous, immense, inexhaustible, crowded with corpses without peace.
Certainly one of the largest graveyards in the world.”
