Hind Rajab Killers Now Identified. Time Now for “Nuremberg Trials” 2 (3,4,5…)?
Al Jazeera has released a new Documentary that uncovers “new evidence in the killings of Hind Rajab, her family, and the rescue team in Gaza City”. The documentary, in partnership with the Hind Rajab Foundation, is entitled Ma Khafiya Aatham

21 October 2025: Al Jazeera has released a new Documentary that uncovers “new evidence in the killings of Hind Rajab, her family, and the rescue team in Gaza City” .
The documentary, in partnership with the Hind Rajab Foundation, entitled Ma Khafiya Aatham (‘Tip of the Iceberg’), aired recently and provides additional details about the killing of the Rajab family and the two paramedics who went to rescue the surviving children, aged 15 and 5, in the final days of January 2024.
For those of us already enraged and heartbroken by the deaths of over 11,000 children at that time – at least twice that number now – by the “most moral army in the world” (sic), Hind Rajab’s recorded voice, and that of her 15 year old cousin, Layan Hamadeh — posted across the world as Israel continued its ongoing and merciless slaughter of innocent people — breaks the silence surrounding Israeli Defense Forces savagery and the lies and propaganda that follow every war crime and inhuman atrocity. (The Israeli government initially claimed that no Israeli forces were present when the Rajab family was killed, though the discovery of 335 bullet holes later would then remain a “mystery” of biblical proportions as no other combatants were identified as being present at that time.)
Despite this genocidal Zionist regime’s propaganda, an investigation using satellite imagery and audio from that day by Forensic Architecture, (a multidisciplinary research group based at Goldsmiths, University of London), found no evidence of any exchange of fire, only the presence of Israeli Merkava tanks in the vicinity of the Rajab family’s car.
Previous Developments:
On May 25, 2025, the Hind Rajab Foundation formally filed a complaint with the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, accusing Israeli military officer Lieutenant Colonel Benny Aharon
: of committing a war crime in the killing of seven-year-old Hind Rajab and her family.
Lieutenant Colonel Benny Aharon, as commander of the 401st Armored Brigade, was the officer responsible for the military operation that targeted Hind’s family car in Gaza City’s Tel al-Hawa neighborhood on January 29, 2024.
Months later, a detailed report titled Vampire Empire revealed additional individuals involved in the sadistic murder of innocent civilians, including these children, fleeing on the orders of the IDF to evacuate their homes.
This report, alongside the Al Jazeera documentary What’s Hidden is Greater, exposed the identities of more Israeli soldiers responsible for the attack. The program traced the details of the military unit responsible for the attack, revealing that it was:
- The 401st Armored Brigade, under the command of Aharon,
- Specifically its 52nd Battalion, led by Colonel Daniel Ella, and
- The unit, reportedly known as Vampire Empire, commanded by Officer Sean Glass, who boasted that his soldiers did not “wait for ”
According to Al Jazeera, Glass not only ordered the shelling of the family car but also targeted the ambulance sent to rescue the survivors.
What’s Hidden is Greater traces this military unit’s involvement.
The episode, presented by journalist Tamer Al-Mashaal and “released from Brussels”, traces a detailed web of evidence that exposes the Israeli military unit responsible for the attack and follows the subsequent legal efforts now underway to bring those involved before international courts.
The analysis found that the car carrying Hind’s family was hit by 335 bullets fired from an Israeli tank located only 23 meters away.
Audio and ballistic evidence showed the gunfire came from one direction and at a high rate of fire, nearly 900 rounds per second, disproving Israel’s claim that its forces were engaged in a clash with Palestinian fighters.
The Vampire Empire Killers
As stated, and lest we forget, the perpetrators have been identified as members of the 401st Armored Brigade, under the command of Benny Aharon, and specifically its 52nd Battalion, led by Colonel Daniel Ella. The company responsible for the attack operated under the name “Vampire Empire”, commanded by Officer Sean Glass. According to Al Jazeera, Glass ordered both the shelling of the civilian car and the subsequent targeting of the ambulance sent to rescue Hind.
The Hind Rajab Foundation has now submitted a full legal case to the ICC against:
- Officer Sean Glass,
- Colonel Daniel Ella, and
- Itai Shukerkov (Chokerkov/Cuckieropf), a dual Israeli-Argentinian citizen who participated in the operation.
The complaint also includes 22 identified tank crew members of the same company who directly participated in or facilitated the attack.
In the Al Jazeera Arabic documentary, the Hind Rajab Foundation publicly revealed the identities of the commanders and tank crew member Itay Cukierkopf.
These additional 22 names have now been submitted confidentially to the ICC and will be made public progressively as national-level complaints are filed in different jurisdictions. For instance a separate complaint is being filed against Itai Shukerkov in Argentina.
As international legal cases continue to unfold, the Hind Rajab Foundation has stated that more than 1,000 legal cases have been filed worldwide against Israeli soldiers and officers for crimes committed during the war on Gaza.
The Voice of Hind Rajab
A separate film, “The Voice of Hind Rajab“, also premiered at the recent Venice Film Festival. Reputedly a powerful docudrama that uses real audio of Hind’s call to first responders, set entirely inside the dispatch center of the Palestine Red Crescent Society. It highlights the events surrounding the killing – and not the “fantasy”-Israeli-version
The film uses Hind’s real audio call while actors portray the first responders. Kaouther Ben Hania, the director, shared that after hearing the full recordings of the calls, she felt compelled to tell Hind’s story:
“This story is not only about memory, it is about urgency. Hind’s mother, Wessam, and her little brother, Iyad, are still in Gaza. Their lives remain in danger, as do the lives of countless mothers, fathers and children who wake up every day under the same sky of fear, hunger, and bombardment. Ongoing Investigations
In June 2024, Forensic Architecture publicised its investigation, which concluded that an Israeli tank likely fired 335 rounds on the car Hind and her family were in, with tank operators able to see civilians, including children, inside.
A Call for Justice

Never forget 5-year-old Hind Rajab. Never forget 15-year-old Layan Hamadeh. Never forget their families. Never forget all Palestinians
killed in this senseless slaughter.
If we are to have any future at all, along with one where peace with justice becomes the norm, we must ensure accountability for war crimes committed yesterday and being committed today on an ongoing basis, supported by the now-lucrative business of arms dealers and the countries, like the US, UK and Germany, who nurture them – all in the slim hope now – that they will not be committed tomorrow.
