Farewell bid for Sakine, Rojbin and Leyla on Tuesday

A farewell ceremony for Sakine, Rojbin and Leyla will be held in Paris on Tuesday, while the funeral will take place in Diyarbak?r
Thousands of people have been visiting the Kurdish Cultural Association in Paris to express their condolences to three Kurdish women, Sakine Cans?z, a co-founder of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party), Fidan Do?an (Rojbin), representative of the KNK (Kurdistan National Congress) in Paris and Leyla ?aylemez, who were found shot dead in the premises of the Kurdistan Information Office in Paris on 10 January.
Members of the French Communist Party, Turkish main opposition party CHP deputy Hüseyin Aygün as well as representatives of a number of parties and organizations have also paid a visit to the Association in solidarity with the victims of the brutal execution in the French capital.
The bodies of the three Kurdish women are expected to be delivered to their families today. The farewell ceremony for the women will be held at Villiers-Le-Bel in the Frech capital on Tuesday. The wake will take place between 11am and 5pm.
The European Kurdish Women’s Movement and the Coordination of European Kurdish Democratic Society (CDK) have both released a statement calling for mass participation in the funeral ceremonies of three Kurdish women whose bodies will be sent from Charles De Gaulle airport to Diyarbak?r on Wednesday. Following the funeral ceremony for the three Kurdish politicians in Diyarbak?r, Sakine Cans?z will be laid to rest in Dersim, Fidan Do?an in Elbistan (Mara?) and Leyla ?aylemez in Mersin.
