E’ il cantautore kurdo Ferhat Tunç il vincitore del premio Freemuse per il 2010. Il cantautore, nato a Dersim, è noto per il suo impegno a favore dei kurdi. Più volte arrestato Tunç è nuovamente sotto processo per aver cantato in kurdo a un festival lo scorso anno.
Il Freemuse Award è stato consegnato a Tunç e alla cantante iraniana Mahsa Vahdat durante una emozionante cerimonia a Londra.

In the old days, the forests of Kand?ra region were known for their deers.
As time went by not a single deer was left in the forests because of hunting on one side and the destruction of the ecosystem on the other side.
About two years ago, the Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks sent a doe and a buck into the forest.
The people of the region, after many years, took the deers they found, under protection almost feeding them by hand.
A baby gazelle was born too.

Court sentences MA journalist Sayılğan to 4 years’ imprisonment

Mezopotamya Agency journalist Idris Sayılğan was sentenced to 4 years in prison. The verdict hearing was held at the 2nd High Criminal Court in Muş.

University in Aleppo threatens Kurdish students
